Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains out how V. Wedding Stationery will use and protect any information you give us when you use our services, falling in line with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This law promotes fairness and transparency for all individuals’ their personal data. Your use of V. Wedding Stationery confirms your agreement to this policy.

 

1 - What data do we collect from you?

During the enquiry process, the following personal data is collected as part of our onboarding:

  • Your name

  • Your partner’s name

  • Your telephone number

  • Your email address

  • Your postal address address

This will be requested on our enquiry form or verbally during a consultation.

Should you place an order with us, the following date is collected in order to create your stationery and/or signage:

  • Your wedding details

  • Guest names (if required for your stationery or signage)

  • Guest addresses (if required for your stationery)

 

2 - What is your data used for?

  • The data you provide is only ever used to create and fulfil your stationery order.

  • V. Wedding Stationery respects your privacy and will not use any physical designs created for you which have your personal data on.

 

3 - Who sees your data?

  • All order forms, invoices, emails and social media accounts are password protected and can only be accessed by V. Wedding Stationery to ensure that information is kept securely.

  • Your data will be shared with my printing and shipping partners who are also bound by GDPR and have a legal obligation to keep your data safe and secure.

  • From time to time, HM Revenue & Customs may require reporting of data in certain circumstances and again, are legally bound to keep your date safe and secure.

  • We will never sell your data to a third party.

  • Our website is built through Squarespace. Squarespace, Inc. complies with the Data Privacy Frameworks to provide a legal basis for transfers of personal data to Squarespace, Inc. in the US from, as applicable, the EEA, Switzerland and the UK. Squarespace, Inc. has certified its compliance to the Data Privacy Frameworks. You can find their certification here.

 

4 - Data retention

  • Once your job is complete, it will be securely archived by V. Wedding Stationery. Your information will still be accessible by V. Wedding Stationery alone.

  • V. Wedding Stationery reserves the right to retain all electronic design files created for customers for as long as required for use within our portfolio as samples of our work.

  • Invoices and booking confirmations will be kept for 7 years as per tax regulations. 

5 - Safety and security

  • V. Wedding Stationery is responsible for continuing to ensure that suitable physical and electronic safeguards are in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure.

 

6 - Cookies

  • Cookies are small pieces of data that websites send to a user’s computer and are stored on the user’s web browser. They are designed to enable the website to remember information. If you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic. A cookie does not give any access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with V. Wedding Stationery.

7 - Your rights and access

  • If you have previously placed an order and have submitted information to us, you can request to have your data deleted from our records at any time.

  • You may request details of the personal information we hold for you at any time, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • If you believe that any information we are retaining on you is incorrect or incomplete, please inform us as soon as possible by emailing hello@vweddingstationery.co.uk so that we are able to amend the information. held.
