Terms & Conditions
Payment of your deposit(s) signifies your agreement to the terms and conditions below. All orders placed with V. Wedding Stationery are subject to these terms.
For ease of understanding, ‘I,’ ‘we’ and ‘us’ refer to Vikki Thomas (CEO) or V. Wedding Stationery as a business.
A ‘production stage/design stage’ refers to a group of stationery and/or signage items which will be produced at different times relative to when you will need them. They are outlined as follows:
(Production stage 1) Save the dates.
(Production stage 2) Invitations and accompanying cards.
( Production stage 3) Wedding day stationery and/or signage.
‘Personal details’ refers to contact information such as your telephone number, address, email address, website and QR codes.
1 - Proposals
A proposal will be provided based on the individual requirements outlined on your enquiry form or during your consultation.
Your proposal is valid until the date outlined at the top of page 1. After this date, a new proposal may be required if business costs have since changed.
You will not be affected by any price change following booking.
Each proposal will be broken down into production stages i.e. when your stationery and/or signage will be produced: (1) Save the dates. (2) Invitations and accompanying cards. (3) Wedding day stationery and/or signage.
Your design fee (whether it be bespoke, or customisation of an existing design) will always be shown on the first stage on your proposal, but covers the design of all stages. For example, if you are booking in for save the dates and invitations, your design fee will shown on your save the date proposal. Should you then decide to opt out of save the dates prior to booking but wish to continue with invitations, your design fee will be moved to your invitations.
2 - Booking & Deposits
Your deposit amount will be outlined in your proposal, and will be at a set amount (usually £50.00) per production stage.
Should a production stage total less than £50.00, your deposit amount will also be less.
Your order will only be secured and designing will only begin after your deposit has been paid. No order will be guaranteed until your deposit is paid.
Other bookings may be taken in the meantime which could change booking availability.
Your deposit amount will be deducted from your total payable balance.
The deposit that you pay for each production stage is non-refundable, unless:
your order is cancelled by V. Wedding Stationery.
you cancel within 48 hours of paying it.
Following booking, your proposal/order amount will not change unless:
you ask for changes to be made to your design which are deemed by V. Wedding Stationery as a significant or bespoke change to the initial idea that was quoted for.
you ask for items to be added/removed from your order.
3 - Other Payments
An invoice for each production stage will be payable following your design approval.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer or a secure payment link sent to you by V. Wedding Stationery.
Should you wish to pay more than the required amount, you can request a payment link or pay via bank transfer. If you pay via bank transfer you must inform us you have done so.
4 - Proofs
All proofs will be digital as standard.
If you require a physical proof this must be requested and is subject to a fee.
All orders are subject to approval of a final proof by you which includes, but is not limited to, spelling, punctuation, grammar and text size. The correctness of all information must be checked by you. V. Wedding Stationery does not accept responsibility for proofreading or information checking.
Giving V. Wedding Stationery the instruction to print signifies your approval of the design and all content.
Any errors found after printing will be subject to re-printing costs which will be payable by you, unless these errors are those of V. Wedding Stationery.
Amendments to proofs should be made within a reasonable timeframe to ensure your order can be completed within the required timeframe.
V. Wedding Stationery does not accept responsibility for any orders that experience a delay due to untimely communication during the proofing process.
5 - Handfinishing
Any product requiring hand finishing may vary due to their handmade nature. This is to be expected and is not deemed as faulty.
6 - Printing
Your stationery and/or signage will only be sent to print when when you have confirmed you are 100% happy with the design, signified by your full payment of the total balance for each production stage. For example, your save the dates (1) will need to be paid for before they are printed, but your invitations (2) and wedding day stationery and/or signage (3) will not be payable until they are ready to be printed.
You are able to change any aspect of your order or design up until your order has been sent to print.
As standard, we send your designs to be printed every Friday as per our contract with our printer. If you miss the deadline, your designs will be sent to print the next Friday. If you require an urgent print on a different day, this will incur extra charges which will need to be paid beforehand.
If you wish to make any changes to your stationery after it has been sent to print, this extra service is payable by you.
All outsourced printing will be checked by myself, unless I specify that they are being sent to you directly from the printer.
We will be responsible for liaising with our printer to correct any errors made by them.
Please note that the colours seen on your digital proof can differ slightly to printed colour due to differences in screen type, computer type, colour profiles and calibration settings. We therefore cannot guarantee an exact match to a specific colour swatch.
7 - Pricing
We reserve the right to make changes to prices at any time.
Those who have booked in by paying their deposit will not be affected by any price changes.
8 - Delivery
Orders will be dispatched unassembled as standard, unless specified otherwise. Should you wish for V. Wedding Stationery to assemble your items this will be at an additional fee.
You will receive your stationery 5-10 working days after you have approved the final designs. This includes any stationery assembly time.
If you are adding more items to your order later on, your delivery date is likely to be later.
If you wish for different items of stationery to be sent out on different dates, this may change the delivery cost and times.
All items will be sent as tracked to ensure they arrive with you safely. The cost for this will be outlined in your proposal.
V. Wedding Stationery is not responsible for any delivery issues caused by client error, including incorrect delivery addresses, deliveries taken in by neighbours or left in ‘safe places’.
V. Wedding Stationery is not responsible for any third party delays in delivery but will monitor and keep you up to date with any issues in transit.
9 - Returns, Cancellations & Terminations
Due to the personalised nature of your order, all items are non-returnable and non-refundable, but if there is an issue with your order please reach out to us by emailing hello@vweddingstationery.co.uk.
Should you cancel your booking within 48 hours of paying your deposit, it will be fully refunded.
V. Wedding Stationery reserves the right to terminate this agreement with immediate effect if any of the terms and conditions outlined are breached.
10 - Ownership, Design Usage & Data Usage
V. Wedding Stationery reserves the right to use any completed projects or designs as marketing and promotional material including, but not limited to, social media, blogs, wedding fayres and events. They can also be used to form future pre-designed collections and therefore be made available to other clients.
V. Wedding Stationery respects your privacy and will not use any physical designs created for you which have your personal data on.
When digitally sharing designs created for you, we will ensure your personal details are not visible.
We will respectfully refrain from using your designs until either you have given consent, or your wedding date has passed; whichever happens earlier.
11 - Copyright
Any improper or illegal use of the stationery, signage, artwork or designs will be pursued.
V. Wedding Stationery will not copy any third party designs, and any images supplied by you for ‘inspiration’ will only be used as such.
You are responsible for ensuring that any material provided to be included in your stationery or signage does not breach any third party Copyright.
