Part II: How can black and white stationery and signage be the perfect addition to your colourful wedding?

Following on from Part I where we swooned over Abigail & Thomas’ wedding day pieces, we’d like to show you another striking yet wholly different vibe that was created for a styled shoot this Autumn in the gorgeous Hay-on-Wye.

Styled Shoot with Worcestershire Wedding Planner at The Globe at Hay

The brief was: Autumnal themed styling with hints of orange, golden candles, Autumn florals, black and white stationery, black bows, creating a cosy feel. And wow - everyone involved really did deliver!

When preparing for the shoot at the unbelievably versatile Globe at Hay, we decided to bring along several different options which all complimented the gold and burnt orange colour scheme beautifully. Please forgive the image of the gold wax seal embellished menu captured by us - a stark difference from the amazing photographs by Dearest Love Photography!

After some deliberation, of course we decided to go with the original vision which was from our Black Tie Collection. Just look at the contrast of the black and white menus against the rich, vibrant orange of the napkins provided by Picture Perfect Styling. The delicate teardrop paperclip adding the guest names to the custom menus give a subtle nod to those gold beaded charger plates and candlesticks.

We created a new table number (we get a little excited when preparing to have our stationery photographed) which means there are now two Black Tie table number options for you to choose from. And doesn’t it just stand out beautifully, with the most stunning flowers from Bloomify providing the perfect backdrop?

We have a full list of the talented suppliers involved below, and we are always here to talk wedding stationery with you - it’s what we do best! Whether you’re a bride or groom to be planning your dream wedding tablescape, or a wedding supplier looking for a stationer to team up with, we’d love to hear from you.

P.S. Head over to our Instagram to see what I got up to in Hay in the lead up to the styled shoot (a tiny bit of work, mostly play, and falling in love with the town of books).
